Speaking of RESPECT, it is interesting to notice that no matter how bad Joan of Arc wanted her country to gain independence from the English she never displayed utter disrespect toward the latter. In fact, she always made sure she gave the English a fair chance to leave without immediately recurring to battle any way she could, and never uttered words of disrespect toward the English captains.

And most certainly she would never have had an OnlyFans account. A good lesson for the self-trafficking females of the modern era.

Fair point, OnlyFans and its ‘traffickers’ are a depressing reminder of the existence of the worst sort of women. One can only hope and pray that they find their way back, as a Catholic I find it depressing to think about so try not to think about the actions of women like them. I prefer to focus my heart and mind on those women who love goodness, seek redemption and whom are truly members of the ‘fairer sex’ so to speak. Dunno if that’s naive but it is how I am.

But you raise a good point Asperges. An undeniable one.

No sir, Not naive at all. I truly believe that the general lack of respect many teens and young adults have for themselves is causing the rush towards anarchy. I raised all my sons and daughters to be respectful of themselves and their bodies, and of course their potential suitors. The choices they have made are interesting to say the least. All that sacrificial parenting…..and still no guarantees. lol. The world is in dire need of more men and women that focus on the good instead of the profane, lest civilization cease to exit. Carry on!!

Aww thank you, it sounds like your children were blessed to have you. And I do appreciate your kind words, I must confess that I feel bad for young adults and teens, and mourn for those who are lost.

Let us hope that they respect their own bodies and souls more going forward, and that they find their way to Christ rather than deeper into sin. God willing a great many may be saved thanks to optimism and kindliness. Or that more parents may shield their children as you have nobly done for your children.

We’re not meant to be alone. Humans are herd animals by nature. Sure I love my “alone” time but that doesn’t mean I want it all the time. Man often becomes erratic and nonsensical when isolated for a long period of time. Prison is a prime example (I’m sure @coleman could back me up on this).

Kindness can stretch even the most difficult of circumstances which is why it’s so important. That doesn’t always mean being “nice.” Nice and kind are two different things (in my opinion).
