So, the most popular forms seem to be something like D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) and video games like that. So you show up in the world, you start at level one, as a fighter, monk, archer, scout, etc. You rise in the world by increasing your 'stats'... your strength etc.
It is popular in that genre to have someone die, get locked in a game, etc... so they come from the 'real' world, and end up stuck in the game world. Sometimes they are desperate to get back.
Another form is that the Earth gets 'inducted' into 'the system', which does a similar thing.
I failed to end the story it wasn't supposed to turn into something long. It was supposed to be about the admiral byrd expedition and the it got away from itself
Is it too late to ask you to add my addition today? I have something new. Don't know if I tagged you or not. You don't have to though, I know you already went and finished this.
Ok, now what is a 'writer's writer'? Does that mean I am only read by writers? But wouldn't that make them readers?
:)
Thanks for putting this together.
I meant that you're the ideal we writers' should aspire aafter hahahaha, but well put mon ami, well put.
And it is always an honour to put these together.
Now you just have to join 'Merry Monday' :)
Thank you! I still have a lot to learn from everyone else here but I hope to add some fantasy stories with heroes and villains in the future.
Sure, keep me posted and I'll keep sharing it!
Does it apply to something in a similar setting as a gamelit? Because I must admit I like those too 😅
Like Litrpg?
Something of the kind yes
What's gamelit? First time I see the term sorry.

I find myself in the mood for those kinds sometime 😊. I have a few stories for such genres.
Ohh okay, sorry for not understanding at first, sure if they're fantasy they count and should be included in these events.
It's literature that takes elements of role playing games, just pure good fun sometimes to write
Ah I see
Are you familiar with litrpg? Royal Road?
Something like that. I have seen the platform yes 😊
I think so, yes.
Thanks as always for the mention!
Anytime!
Thank you :)
Bienvenue!
I hope you liked the latest episodes!
I'll continue reading after I sleep to-night, never fear I've not stopped reading, I really am enjoying them!

It's never too late and I didn't see it, so re-tag.
Thanks so much mon ami.
