I'm going listen because 1) I'm Canadian, and, 2) I don't read as much of Captain Carter nor of your excellent work. I cannot keep up, dammit!

Apologies for that, I honestly can’t keep up with some people hereon Substack, there’s so many prolific writers.

I appreciate your support no matter what, if you want I can inform you my best work is my fiction which can be found in the index/table of contents section of my site. As to Captain Carter, he’s a marvel and I must admit that between him and Morgoth, it is indeed difficult to keep up.

Great listen so far. Question: Have either of you watched the YouTuber Argent? He’s a Catholic Canadian YouTuber living in Toronto I think and he makes movie, TV, and game reviews from a reactionary perspective. He covers geopolitics and his sense of humor is very sarcastic. Good guy and very funny. 👍

Non, never heard of him might have to consider getting in touch with him.

He would be a good guest to have on. No rush though. Peace ✌🏻

P.S. He’s also wrote a book a few years ago, but it’s sadly out of print, so there aren’t that many copies.

Great conversation. Thanks for this, guys. I especially enjoyed the bits where you discussed fiction more broadly, outlining the senses in which it indeed does reenchant the world beyond the material. Cheers and Merry Christmas.

Thanks and cheers and Joyeux Noel to you also James. I’m really glad you enjoyed the talk of Fiction. I’ve a more in depth discussion with Isaac Young on this very topic and have plans after Christmas to discuss it more at length with him in a podcast down the road.

I've a long piece brewing on the subject myself; it'll take some time to finish, though. I hope to publish it either before New Years or at the beginning of next year. Looking forward to your conversation with Isaac -- I've heard good things.

Isaac is the greatest, I’m a fanboy of his and his fiction is among the best on Substack.

I can’t wait to read your work, do please tag me so I can have a look.
