You have touched on a fundamental element in my current series - but it also makes it hard to market :) How do I market fantasy that is built on a strong foundation of family, husbands and wives who will always have each other's backs, no matter what the enemy? It does have some elements fully expected in the genre, the books are also fun, but the deep thread is there.

Good question, you market and push forward it as an alternative to what’s out there. You highlight the Tolkienian, the Howardian elements and push forward the traditional elements of your beautiful story.

I’m encountering the same problem and pushing forward like a bull-dog. So you know what? Gimme the link and I’ll help market it for you Mme. Brewer!

For my 2c? Just like that. I enjoy fantasy and there is a terrible dearth of entries at the present time in that market that are family-positive or marriage-positive. I can easily find dozens of novels with harems or hookups, but struggle to think of even a handful of series that celebrate a husband and wife. You have my interest now.

Same, there’s a reason I wrote Darkspire and Gemstone, which celebrate that also. What she’s doing is something great so I’m subscribing to her.
