And this poem really grips one and draws one from one line to the next somehow, even more so than the last one. The pace seems quicker, the story more urgent.
Thanks, I’m glad you liked it. The idea is that the first move has been made. The barbarians have stormed the beach, are advancing south upon the Dorians/Greeks who suffer an initial push-back but are rallying and preparing themselves to press them back.
