The Last Samurai is one of my dearest movies. So deep. So true. Just love it.

Same, it is…. beautiful. I really wish we could get more movies like it. On the bright side Robert the Bruce 2019 was pretty close in terms of depth and beauty.

Have you seen Brotherhood of the Wolf so far?

Not yet, going to put it on to-day after I finish my Musashi essay, so that I have something to listen to while working on some Japanese practice.

Not bad coming from a man 😉

J/k, it’s really a great read, as usual.

I would add one thing on the technical side. It’s more for writing dialogue in general but it’s especially important for romantic situations (at least, it’s helped me a ton). Read it aloud. More than once, I would say. For me, it really gives a feel for the emotion and the tone and helps to establish the natural flow (even with instinctive body language and gestures).

The Crown of Blood looks like a very interesting read!

Oh thanks, it’s bloody and more inspired by Shakespeare’s tragedies than anything else. I’m hoping to publish in March the enormously more romantic Swift Shadow Murders haha.

But I’d be very much obliged if you do read Crown if you’d tell me your thoughts on it! X)
