Firstly, Éodain is a lord's daughter, or so I read, but she doesn't act as one. She's mean, vindictive, and spiteful. She's more like a spoiled merchant's daughter.
Saving another's life, even at the cost or near cost of your own, is a man's greatest offering. Having his name be that of an ancient king is justice served.
It's a testament to your writing that I read it from top to bottom and enjoyed it. I like how you filled the familiar places with races other than humans.
If ever a book of this you print, let me know so that I may buy it.
I didn't see this comment until now apologies, as to Eodain she is indeed all those things and worse.
I'm glad you liked the non-human races and my hope is to republish this book soon. I'll be submitting the book tomorrow to a publisher, and if they fail to respond in a week or two I'll be publishing it myself in September I hope.
Mon Dieu, c'était une longue lecture
