On the matter of Macaria, once she had purged her fortress of all the demons, monsters and twisted perversions Hecate and she had woven there, her fortress was attacked by Olympos. The full might of the Olympians fell upon her then, as they had waited for such a moment, for her to weaken but a little before they bore down all the fury, and hatred they harboured for. The hope was to slay her, however little did they expect that she might transform herself, into a crow and fly off from her fortress.

She flew west; doing so always in the night so afraid was she of incurring the attention and fury, of Olympos. Fury that was well-justified, even she knew with the goddess for a time remaining at a distance from all. She took up the flesh of a crone, in the woods of Tilkenial, where the locals came to know her as Dolora. The locals considered her as a wise-woman, one who taught them much medicine, much of the old lore, this before she departed for north of the Mullachic Mountains. From there, she came to the Ogre-Kingdom of Zolvara, which had built such spires and towers, near and atop the mountains, and had such courage in arms that the goddess full of amazement towards them. They were easily the rivals of the Ogres of Golgaroth, though where the Kingdom of Zulghar was in eternal conflict with her neighbours that of Zolvara preferred isolation. Building up immense ramparts to keep all outsiders out, they waged war only to keep other tribesmen from entering their domains, fearful that outsiders would destroy all that they treasured.

As she traveled amidst the Ogres, Macaria took up the name Dïrtsaï name that in the Ogre tongue means ‘War-Bringer’ and that they consider one of the highest praise for any woman. From the lands of Zolvara, she left for Golgaroth, wherefore she bore witness to the end of that realm at Herakles’s hands. She spent some time amongst men, learning what she could about them, their nature both public and secret, this before she met Thungarr of the Goldtusks. The first great Ogre convert to the faith she now gave to the Ogres, who came to revere her above all other gods, for her desire to raise them up once more.

It was after this time, after Thungarr departed to proselytise her faith that, she departed herself for the coast of Ilion. Going to those lands, to consult with her grandmother Rheia, about what she was to do next. It was she who told her of the great arms that the rebels had been gathering in Erebus, without any in the west noticing.

Amazed, Dïrtsaï acquiesced to the council her grandmother gave her, “Thou art a wife, one who hast strayed from her husband’s side and who hast made him a cuckhold in mind and heart, if not in body. Thou art also an oath-breaker to his Kingly uncle, and thus must return to repent, lay thyself down at their feet and beg for forgiveness in utter meekness.”
