Saturday it is again, and on this very noteworthy day we have another collection of some of the finest stories around, the likes of which cannot be found elsewhere online.
First up we have
who has chosen to honour Tolkien, and one of greatest scenes from the Silmarillion, involving a very popular character, Fingolfin with a poem dedicated just to him. So check it out, and awe at Ethan’s masterful use of poetry to convey feeling and grandeur in a manner only Tolkien has ever done before him. is a joy to be around, and her work no less a source of joy (I couldn’t resist), as she lends her incredible talent to a spectacular poem that brings the likes of Luthien to mind, along with Irish Elvish folklore. is a one of a kind writer, with boundless gifts and a knack for storytelling. Here is an excerpt from his newest serial that he has blessed us with.Blood Hunt continues (great title btw), with the ever witty
as ever showing off his wit in this 4th chapter of his great tale. returns to Tranith Argan, his magnificent, beauteous world with the second chapter to his epic serial novel, so check it out as you won’t regret reading it, given the natural talent Mr. Richards has with a pen. is to dragon-literature what Howard was to barbarians, and Tolkien to ring-stories, but don’t take my word for it, check out her newest chapter of Wingswept.Chapter 11 has come, for War-Torn
’s awesome epic, with her heroes settling into a new normal, will this be the end of their adventure? Is it the prelude to more? Only way to find out is to read on, so please do so as Victoria’s a great writer of prose, and skilfully weaves together images via the written word. is a man who needs no introduction, with his stories always awing his readers, with his new Nordic saga one that is more than worthy of the sagas of old. Trust me, no one writes like he does, and he imbues something beautiful into every paragraph and every chapter, and this time it is no exception. comes at us again, not with lore regarding Elves but this time Vampires! As always, he’s writing magnificently about a great topic with no shortage of themes and motifs to get into. So do check out his analysis and writing, it’s awesome. The chapter may be called Soul of Iron, but if there’s one thing that
does not have it is that, as he weaves together a tale with great dialogue, prose and empathy a story only he could tell. Here’s the Voyage of the Dawn Breaker chapter 1, a chapter with a very Celtic feel, a great deal of descriptions and an expert use of language as part of the story and lore.
writes with an ability that is very unique, and puts considerable thought into every sentence, every paragraph, his is truly a craft he’s perfected over the course of a life-time. is a profoundly moving and terrifying writer; moving because of the emotion she can pour into every story and chapter. And terrifying because of the darkness contained in her world, with the Heiress of the Lake’s 5th chapter bringing this aspect of her writing to the fore (the terror and the moving elements). And here’s my own humble contribution, it is the seventh chapter in the Caladbohlg saga, in which Bradan learns what true loss is all about, as he also comes face to face with the Warlock-King of Amadan!
And a special thank you to all participants, to all readers and to all those who follow, you’re all the very best.
